This was a heck of a tournament! 24 Teams, and $1,800 in prizes!! BY FAR the most we have ever given out for any event.

I'll post more later, but just for Cicada over there (we missed ya bro!), here's the Top 4:

4th Place - Team Redunkulous (Eric Koterba, Casey Jones, Matt Millner, and Gordie McPhee) - $160 in Gift Certificates

3rd Place - US EH? (Luke Hart, Robert Swigart, Grant Swigart, and Chris Roberts) - $240 in Cash / Gift Certificates

2nd Place - What Would Detach Do? (David Durham, Jordan Blackburn, Chris Arozarena, Aaron Elam) - $400 Cash

1st Place - Anger Management - (Mike Cavanaugh, Kevin Colvin, Marty Ryan, Kyle Elam) - $1,000 CASH!

This was a ton of fun, and I appreciate everyone's help in making this run as smoothly as it did. The next tournament will be in April, I'll have the date up on the site very soon. Pictures of the winning team will be up soon too.

Sadly, we didn't get as many videos of gameplay as we wanted, but we did get one of the 2nd FFA Final game with Strongside, and one of his team in their Winner's Bracket tiebreaker with "What Would Detach Do" which was an awesome awesome game. They're going to be on Google Video soon, links to follow

UPDATE: I upped the videos, they showed up in the search, but the 14-minute videos only showed as 4:25, even when downloaded!! I'm going to upload them again, and then go from there. Worst case, I convert to another format and try again.

I guess he decided to skip out on the money match but that's ok because his money is in my hands now. Also just wanted to mention that the "bad kid" Eriz got 4th and him and KanucC made a team with matters and octaine the day of and had no practice at all.

I can't stand people that talk mass cake for their team (what carnage did) and then don't place top 4 when they say Strongside is bad after a Backwash shotguns FFA. I understand that your regular 4th couldn't be there but there really isn't any need to troll the forums and post about how great youre going to do in more than one thread.

P.S. Skills I don't know if you saw me there but you wouldn't be able to "take me on" like you said in live. I'm sorry. Internet muscles are great huh?

P.P.S I know this post kind of makes me sound like an ass but I'm really a nice guy. These things just had to be said.

i definitly enjoyed how the tournament was ran. It was the best tourny i went too. Although seating was a pain and a lil crowded it was fun. We plan on attending the next one, whenever that will be.

I think they may need to extend the area of the Halo VIP area if they keep getting so many teams. I guess they'll have to rent out skyline for a day and serve us free coneys while we play.
